Galerie La Ligne, located in Zürich, specialises in geometric Art Concret and Constructive Art.
The gallery represents international artists whose original paintings, sculptures, screen prints and multiples continue in the tradition of these artistic movements.
Exhibitions are held in the gallery or, externally, in museums, such as the Museum Haus Konstruktiv in Switzerland.
Galerie La Ligne, founded in 2004 by Jack Meyer and Urban Hess, also shows its artists’ work at contemporary art fairs, in Zürich, Cologne and, for the fourth consecutive year, at Art Paris.
The artists represented by La Ligne include Aurélie Nemours, Haruhiko Sunagawa, Sonia Delaunay, Vera Molnar, Ueli Gantner, Marie-Thérèse Vacossin and Christian Megert among others, and, recently, Bardula, whose work will be exhibited in the Grand Palais during Art Paris.
The Studio has its origins in an encounter between a visual artist/silversmith (Bardula) and an architect/scenographer in Paris back in 2003.
Their work reflects the former’s passion for geometric abstraction and investigations into weightlessness and transparency, and the latter’s fascination with new technologies, in particular 3D and light.
